Result Area 2: Post-Conflict Peace-Building

Activity 2.1 Mission to the Guinea Republic and Burkina Faso 

As two countries currently undergoing transition, Burkina Faso and the Republic of Guinea have been selected as priority countries to receive advisory services and capacity development. To that end a needs assessment mission composed of 4 to 5 selected experts will be conducted. From this needs assessment report a follow-up programme will be developed and jointly agreed on focusing on rule of law and the transitional justice process and capacity development to hence women, youth and other vulnerable groups. As part of the mission, meetings will be held with the bodies in charge of elections meetings with the bodies in charge of elections, the National Reconciliation.
